WARRANTIES
All standard warranties are provided by the manufacturers and are subject to their terms and conditions.
All extended warranties will be provided by Domestic & General (the UK's leading appliance protection specialists), usually at around half the high street price!
Mattress Warranties
• General Traders will either repair or replace free of charge any part of the mattress which becomes defective within one year of the date of purchase due to faulty material or poor workmanship.
• Faults resulting from misuse, or in a soiled or unsanitary condition, will not be covered.
• After the first year any repair or replacement will be made on a sliding scale basis, for example: In year 7, depending on the mattress you will be charged 7/12ths or 7/10ths of the purchase price plus a small addition will be made to cover transport costs.
• General Traders Ltd reserve the right to substitute alternate Fabrics of an equivalent level..
• Any claim should be made to the retailer where the mattress was originally bought within one month of the fault becoming evident.
• We may vary the terms of this warranty, if in our opinion; there are special circumstances which warrant a variation.
• Proof of purchase is necessary with any claim.
• The terms of this warranty do not affect your statutory rights.
Domestic & General Extended Warranties
A Domestic & General extended warranty gives you the chance to extend your manufacturer's warranty for your domestic electrical appliance for up to 5 years.
If your appliance is damaged your Domestic & General extended warranty plan will pay for a qualified repair.
All extended warranties are not the same – make sure you take out one with these benefits, just a selection of what you get from Domestic & General:

What’s not included?
The plan will not pay for:
- delivery or installation charges where a replacement product is provided.
- costs you may incur to dispose of your original appliance;
- costs arising from not being able to use your equipment;
- cosmetic damage.
If you need our help, simply call the Helpline at any time of the day or night. They will put you in touch with a reliable repairer in your area. In most cases they will settle the costs directly with them so you won't even see a bill.

New for old cover
Extended warranty plans taken up during the manufacturer's guarantee period offer new for old cover. "If we can't fix it, you get a brand new replacement appliance."

You will need to include a copy of your receipt, and a covering letter with a description of the problem and your return address.
Other Sony Products
These products can be simply taken to your local Sony service centre where they will be repaired under warranty at no cost to you. Alternatively you can return the item to us and we will get it repaired under warranty and send it back to you, whichever you find easiest.
LG Products
Any faults on LG products should be reported directly to us, We will contact LG's Service network and arrange for an engineer to take a look at the faulty product
